This antique Piano is a Broadwood semi grand (Boudoir grand). It is straight strung, iron framed and built within a Walnut case.

Its' manufacture was completed on 9th January 1873, and its' serial number is: 7896

This information and other details were obtained from the original Broadwood handwritten ledgers in the archives at the Surrey History Centre.

The Piano has not been re-tuned since moving, however all notes are playing. It therefore needs tuning and may require some servicing. As expected due to its' age, there is some foxing to keys which would require renovation. There is a small piece of beading missing and another piece will need re-gluing into place. There are also some other small chips, again due to its' age.

It measures approximately 226 x 140cm (7ft 5 ins x 4ft 7 ins)
